Alfred Ryman - British War Medal and Victory Medal

In August I received a WWI pair awarded to 10275 Sapper A Ryman RE. I was able to access his Medal Index Card from the UK national archives but the only additional information I could get was his first name - Alfred. This proved to be enough and by using ancestry.com I could narrow down the family and I've recently been in contact with Ryman's grand son's family.
Thanks to SGT Paul C of the RAAF who sent me the medals which are in wonderful condition.
The returned medal tally is now 1048.
