8042 Thomas Clarke Simpson

The WWI pair awarded to 8042 Thomas Clarke Simpson was sent to me by the WA RSL. Bill did some fantastic research to locate Simpson's' daughter.
Simpson served with 16th Bn after enlisting in late 1917. He arrived in France in the middle of 1918 and was WIA on 17 August 1918. The wounds he received required a finger of his left hand to be amputated.
The medals returned tally is now 851.

Update on 8 May 11 - photos added.
